Centered Wisdom’s Teen Support: Staying centered amidst chaos
Cancelled summer plans after a semester of online school. Limited social interaction. Uncertainty. Anxiety. This is NOT what you expected for your high school years. These are historic times and it can feel like the world is coming to an end between a pandemic, the murder of George Floyd, continued racial injustice and social unrest. It’s easy to worry about what’s next and feel despair about the last few months when parents, school administrators, and our leaders don’t have the answers either. Now is the time to find support with your peers.
Centered Wisdom’s founder Nina Keebler, LMFT along with therapist, Michelle Mangiardi, APCC will guide you and your peers through these difficult experiences—helping you feel centered and grounded in the midst of chaos.
We will support you as a community of peers in the following:
- Developing a schedule that works for you
- Maintaining healthy habits that support your mental health
- Managing the conversation in your head about what is happening
- Learning to integrate mindfulness into your life for inner peace
When we cannot control the world outside ourselves, managing our inner world becomes essential.
This virtual group will meet on Zoom on Fridays 10:30am – 11:30am starting July 10, 2020 and running for four weeks to July 31, 2020.
