Many of us are focused on surviving, not thriving in the current environment. Let 2018 be the year that you start to take back your narrative and set out to thrive and not just survive the current events affecting our lives. Instead of worrying on a resolution, let’s think bigger and set an Intention that will guide our actions through the year.
Research has consistently shown that meditation, intention, and community are sustaining practices that can reduce anxiety. Mindfulness gives individuals a tool to interrupt automatic, reflexive fight, flight, or freeze reactions. This allows us to build a practice of gratitude and purpose. By bringing intention to your life and your year to address your anxiety, you are taking the first step in a personal journey. Lets start this journey creating a habit of persistence that includes seeing yourself as whole, capable, and resourceful individual.
